Virginia Bentley Elliott, 97, passed away on November 11, 2022 at the home of her daughter. She was the first of ten children born to Bev and Edna Howard in Baxter, Kentucky.

She was a faithful member of Parkview Church of God for over 60 years, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She has gone to get her reward. She retired from Coats and Clark Zipper Plant in 1965.

Those gone before her are her husband David; her daughter Pat Shelly; her four sisters and two brothers. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Barbara Jackola; two children not by blood but love, Betty and Bill; grandsons, Johnnie Craddock and Donnie Hicks (Jen), and many more grandchildren; two sisters and one brother; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM Friday, November 18, 2022 at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home, with a funeral service following at 2 PM. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.
