Virginia Dare Byrd Liverman, 90, passed away on June 13, 2022. She was born September 9, 1931 to Wiley Byrd and Ruby Askew Byrd in Conway, NC.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Byrd, Dorothy Stanton, Ruby Irene Hamilton; her son Paul Wayne Sanderson; daughter Betty Gail Weekley; son in law Jimmy Ray Braddy. Survivors include her son Walter Henry Sanderson, Jr. (Sandy)daughters, Jo Ann Braddy and Rose Dunn (Charlie); granddaughters, Courtney Stone (Keri), and Amie Miller (Matt); and great-grandchildren, Jack and Finn McGregor and Sophia and Natalie Miller.

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Commonwealth Senior Living and Grace Hospice of Williamsburg.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be gifted to any Alzheimer's organization.
