Thomas Weldon Stephenson, 94, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024. Tom or "Steve" as he is known to many, was born on August 21, 1929 in Saltillo, Texas. He was a 20 year Navy veteran including service in the Korean War. He was widowed on July 2, 2015 when the love of his life, Jean Stephenson, passed away and he never remarried. His service to his country was only overshadowed by his love and dedication to his family. He will always be loved by all of his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas W. Stephenson, Jr. (Barbara) of Barhamsville, VA, Richard Marshall Stephenson (Pam) of Glen Allen, VA, James Oscar Stephenson of Sarasota, FL, and Thomas Burrows (Elaine) of San Tan Valley, AZ. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Ryan Stephenson (Colleen), Patrick Stephenson (Stephany), Andrew Zuzma (Kristen), Michael Zuzma (Brittany), Ricky Stephenson, Samantha Stephenson, Thomas Burrows, Jr. (Rachel), Brianna Burrows, and Colleen Howard (Matthew). In addition he is survived by 12 great grandchildren.

"Steve" will be buried with full military honors at 2 PM, Monday, April 1, 2024 at Culpeper National Cemetery.
