Terry Champine Price, 60, of Hampton, went to be with the Lord after battling breast cancer on Saturday, April 27, 2024. She was born November 12, 1963 and was preceded in death by her parents, Robert A. Champine and Dorothy L. Champine; brothers, Dan Champine and Steve Champine.

Terry is survived by her husband Randy Price; daughters, Melissa Clauer (Nate), Robin Klaugh (Eddie), Emily Price, and Mya Fernandez (daughter/granddaughter); son Brandon Price (Sarah); brothers, Jeff Champine (Delores), Richard Champine (Marti); one sister Tricia Garrett (Ron); five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Terry graduated high school from Hampton Roads Academy and received a Bachelor's degree in Information Science from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, in Belton, TX.  She worked Civil Service for nine years before discovering her passion of helping students achieve their dreams as a tutor in Math and Chemistry.

Terry was a longtime active member of Liberty Live Church, Hampton, where she taught a ladies Bible study class and served in the Banner Ministry and Disaster Relief Ministry. She received awards from the Southern Baptist Conservative of Virginia, and Midnight Prayer Walker with Katrina Relief.

Terry's passion was loving Jesus, working in her flower beds and spending time with family and friends.  She was a loving, caring person always willing to help others.

Terry leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion which will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2024 in the worship center of Liberty Live Church, Hampton. The family will receive friends following the service.  Burial will be private at a later date.
