Ruth Ann Miller of Newport News entered eternal rest on the 19th of July, 2024. She was a devoted wife for 77 years, mother for 75 years, and servant of God for 99 years. Ruth Ann was a member of the Warwick River Mennonite Church, and lived her whole life in the Denbigh area. She is survived by her husband, Ernest C. Miller Jr.; her children: Darrell Miller (Jane), Betsy Culotta (John), and Chris Miller (Ronda); 6 grandchildren: Elisabeth Vella (Daniel), Makensie Miller, Jason Culotta, Sanford Culotta (Suzanne), Sarah Lemon (Billy), and Emily Wenger (Kendall); 9 great-grandchildren: Henley Vella, Virginia Vella, Carson Culotta, Reed Culotta, Sammy Lemon, Blake Lemon, Bella Lemon, Arlo Wenger, and Toby Wenger.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 PM on Friday, July 26 at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the Warwick River Mennonite Church Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Warwick River Mennonite Church (250 Lucas Creek Rd.).  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Warwick River Mennonite Church Building Fund.
Ruth Ann would have turned 100 years old on December 4th.
