Roy Lee Bowen, Jr., better known as "RL" by his loved ones, was a beloved husband and father. His wife, Teresa, and his two sons, Roy and Tyler, were the center of his universe.

He loved music almost as much as his family. He was always listening to music or playing the drums and frequently doing both at the same time. He was also a fisherman at heart, frequenting the local fishing spots and teaching his sons how to line a pole. Additionally, RL was also a sort of legend in the local HVAC community. He mentored and held professional relationships with many of the technicians in the area. He was known for his expertise and high quality work. He was passionate about his work and loved that his work could help people feel more comfortable. That is who RL was. He was a man who cared more about helping other people, even strangers, more than he cared about helping himself. He would frequently go out of his way to help someone in need or to do the right thing. RL has left an impact on many lives and will be missed everyday.

As per his wishes, there will be no service or funeral. However, if you would like to remember him please cast a line in his memory; listen to Xanadu by Rush; or even just be kind/helpful to someone in need like he would be.
