Ronnie left us to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 22, 2024, after battling for several years with various issues. Ronnie was born in Mt. Airy, North Carolina on January 22, 1946. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Taylor of Newport News, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deniece Taylor of Newport News; a son Ronnie R. Taylor, Jr. of North Carolina; a daughter Lorie Call (Sandy) of North Carolina; a granddaughter Ashley Call of North Carolina; a stepdaughter Barbara Mahady, aka "Chris" of Newport News and their beloved Chihuahua, "Mimi".

Ronnie and Deniece have been long time members of Maranatha Baptist Church in York County, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, April 29, 2024 in Peninsula Memorial Park.
