Robert H. Huggard, age 93, of Yorktown, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2023. Mr. Huggard was a member of the United States Navy ranked as a Chief for 32 years. After retiring from the military he continued his education to receive a Masters Degree in Education. He then went to teach special education in the Hampton School System. He was a member of Menchville Baptist Church.

Mr. Huggard is survived by his wife Angeline Frantz and preceded in death by his first wife Nancy C. Huggard. He is survived by his loving son Byron Huggard and his wife Dawn Huggard; a daughter in law Amy Huggard; four grandchildren, Brandon Wimmer, Caitlyn Huggard, Thomas Lacey and Justin Meyers; and a great granddaughter.

The family will receive family and friends at Menchville Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 AM to 12 PM with the funeral  service following at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.
