Preston T. Jordan, 92, passed away June 13, 2022 at home in Hampton. Preston was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA but lived in Buckroe when he was drafted into the Army in 1951. He served in Germany and was in the Reserves after his tour there. Preston worked as a body shop mechanic and retired from Hampton Chevrolet, but worked on rental houses and his garden during evenings and weekends, and took care of his mother until she passed in 1988.

Preston leaves to cherish his memory his brother Loyd, age 96, and his family, Diana Stover, Kelly Jackson (Don), Kristen Murray (Daniel), Leo Stover; Barbara Griffith (Richard), Nycki Jordan (Brian) and Zoey; and Heath Ward.

Preston was a good, hard working man, but we will see him again in heaven because he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 2 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue in Hampton.
