Placida "Maria" Carvajal Masuco Robb, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16th at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News surrounded by her family.  Maria was born on April 5, 1934, in Puebla de Sanchez Perez, Espana. Maria was born and raised in Spain until the age of 29 when she met and married her Air Force sweetheart, John Robb, and spent 42 years happily married, living a wonderful life traveling the world as a military family until they settled in Newport News, VA.

Maria was loved and adored by all and never met a stranger. Maria was an active stay at home and beloved mother who spent most of her life caring and cooking for everyone. She was always surrounded by her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.  Her prize possession was her house, and she could always be found outside working on her yard and flower beds.  Maria was an avid shopper that would shop until she dropped. Maria loved wholeheartedly and would do anything for anyone without thinking twice.  She was loved by so many friends that became like family to her and her family.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, John Robb (1995), and is survived by her two children, Gregory Francis Robb, and his wife Pamela Robb of Yorktown, VA, their two daughters, Chelsie Robb and Alexa Robb of Stuart, Fl; and her daughter Anna Maria Robb Little, and her husband Larry Little, and their daughters Abigail Little and Paige Little of Palm City, FL.

There will be a graveside service held on March 20, 2025, 11:00am, at Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA. Please feel free to attend if you would like to pay your respects.
