Pheobia King Hinson, 82, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. She was born in Sampson County, NC and has been a Peninsula resident for 60 years. Pheobia was a member of York Assembly of God.

Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ennis W. Hinson; those left to cherish her memories are her 3 sons, James "Tim" Hinson and his wife Darlene, Craig Hinson, and Stuart Hinson and his wife Carrie, all of Newport News; 3 brothers, Carl "C.E." Emerson King, Frankie P. King and Ronnie G. King, all of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren, Shane Hinson (Megan) of Newport News, Christina Geisler (Kyle) of Chesapeake, Sarah Reade Hinson and Kailey Hinson, both of the Outer Banks of NC, Jacob Hinson of Richmond, Curtis Hinson of Hampton, Matthew Hinson and Victoria "Tori" Hinson both of Newport News; 3 great-grandchildren, Gwyneth Hinson, Miles Hinson and Hawkin Geisler.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Tuesday, March 16, 2021, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM at York Assembly of God, 7826 George Washington Memorial Highway, Yorktown. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
