Paula Maria Orphanidys passed away peacefully on February 13, 2024. She was born in Newport News, Virginia on July 16, 1958 to George, Sr. and Edith Orphanidys. She was a resident of Williamsburg but grew up in Newport News where she lived a good part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and survived by her daughter Maria Waldron and husband Corey; grandson Corey, Jr.; brother George Orphanidys, Jr. and wife Michelle; and nephew George, III.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, March 4, 2024 in Peninsula Memorial Park, followed by a celebration of her life at the Warwick Yacht Club, 400 Maxwell Lane in Newport News.
