Patricia Ann Moore - Burroughs, 79, went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 24, 2023. She was a native of Maryland and a Virginia Peninsula resident for over sixty years. Patricia loved being with her family and seeing all the grandkids. She also loved playing games and putting together puzzles with her new friends at her retirement community.

She was preceded in death by her dad and mom, James and Myrtle Waller; her husband William "Bill" Burroughs; and great grandson Sean Nelson.

Survivors include, two sons, Lynn Moore ( Drema) of Yorktown, Glenn Moore (Carol) of Newport News; one daughter Lisa Moore of Newport News; one brother John Waller of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Moore, Amanda Triplett (Adam), Jeffrey Moore (Laura), Chelsey Moore (Justin), Amber Sousa (Alex), Noah Moore and Jared Moore; seven great-grandchildren, Riley Moore, Kingston Moore, Adalynn Triplett, Avery Triplett, Rowen Moore, Eli Moore, and Katie Nelson.

Visitation will begin at 1 PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home. A funeral will follow at 2 PM with Pastor Randy Cooksey officiating. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
