Obituary

As we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman, Norma. In her presence, we all felt a unique blend of kindness, strength, and unwavering faith. Norma was a force of nature, a sweet, artistic soul who touched the lives of everyone she met.

Norma's stubbornness was not just a quirk, it was a testament to her fierce love and determination. Whether it was standing firm in her beliefs or passionately supporting her loved ones, she taught us the importance of resilience. Her  kindness shone brightly in all she did. She had an incredible ability to make others feel seen and cherished, always ready with a comforting word or a warm embrace from the Lord.

As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Norma poured her heart into her family. She nurtured with grace, always making time for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, ensuring they felt her love and support. Her prayers were a powerful force; she prayed for everyone, believing wholeheartedly in the power of faith.

Norma's artistic spirit allowed her to see beauty in the world around her. Her expressed her creativity in ways that inspired those around her reminding us to appreciate the little things and to find joy in our surroundings.

Norma left on this beautiful earth her three sons, Greg Sowell, Mark Sowell, David Sowell, and one daughter, Monica Zelasko-Winchester. Norma showed her unconditional love and support to her children. Through their marriages Norma gained a daughter-in-law, Lisa Sowell (Greg), a son-in-law, Travis Winchester (Monica), and a future daughter-in-law, Pamela Kirby (David). Their family's love has continued to carry on her legacy through all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Bradford and Chloe (Greg), Nichole (Monica) and Joe (grandson-in-law). Their two children, Cheyanna and Elvis, Steven (Monica), Michael (Monica) and Victoria (granddaughter-in-law). Their son Malachi, Jonathan (David).

But above all, Norma was a best friend to many. She listened without judgment and offered advice filled with love and wisdom. Her legacy of Kindness and prayer will forever resonate in our hearts.

As we remember Norma, let us honor her by embodying the values she lived with: kindness, faith, and unyielding love for family. May her spirit continue to guide us and inspire us in our own lives.
