Milton O. Garrison, Jr. 87, of Hampton, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness. He was born on February 26, 1933 to Milton O. Garrison Sr. and Pearl W. Garrison in Newport News, VA.

Milton graduated from Newport News High School in 1951 before becoming employed by the C & P (Verizon) phone company for 50 years, where he eventually retired. Prior to his illness, Milton was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, VA. He also enjoyed bike riding, gardening, and his collection of frog memorabilia. Milton was predeceased by his first wife of 53 years, Jackie Garrison.

He is survived by his children, Robin Hall (Greg), Cathy, Milton Garrison III, Jerry (Carol), Tina Knight (Larry), Mary Roe (Jim), and Jacci Zicker (Jeff), nephew, John Peterson (Becky), 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his second wife, Joann Garrison, and her daughter, Barbara Link (Paul), her grandchildren, Jennifer Haslip (Robert), and Stephanie, and 1 great-grandson, Brantley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Liberty Baptist Church.
