Milenda Ann White (Lynn), age 79 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8th in Suffolk, Va. She was born March 24, 1946 in Texas, beloved daughter to the late Raymond Miller and Stacy Thompson. She retired after working 20 years for the Newport News Police Department, where she was loved and respected. She was passionate, warm, and kind, and loved to cook. She was famous for always saying "eat and be happy".

She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Robert White Sr. Her brothers Mark, Roy, and Paul Thompson, and Raymond, David, and Mike Miller. Her children, Chris (Tamara) White, Tammy (Michael) Gregory. Her grandchildren Dessie (Joe) Novotny, Kerry (Daniel) Toon, Allora White, and Joshua White. Her great grandchildren Robert, Dillon, Elizabeth, and Adler.

There will be a private gathering for the immediate family, and plans for a celebration of life at a later date.
