Michael Alan Ohman, Sr., age 52, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. He was born in Suffolk, Virginia, to Carol Eva and Kenneth Alan Ohman.

He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Alan Ohman. He leaves behind his mother Carol; sister Laura (Chris); his wife Aminda Lea Ohman; his children Michael Jr, Nathan (Lexi), Hayley (Oscar), Aiden (Kalie), Jacob (Ella) and Haylee (Caleb), and faithful furry companions Bella and Potter.

He was an amazing Gampie to Lucille and Oliver Hammonds, and his furry grandbabies Chaos, Matrix, Khaleesi, Mellow, and Carrie.

Michael was a senior master technician with Ford for many years working at Universal Ford and Sheehy Ford in Ashland. He had a huge impact on the automotive industry. He would help anyone at any time with any issue. It was just who he was. Cars and all things automotive were his passion in life. (Unless it was anything other than a Ford, he would tell you they all sucked.) He moved on from being a mechanic to becoming an instructor with Universal Technical Institute where he was an employee at the time of his passing. He will be sorely, deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Forever in our hearts is where he will be.
