Mark H Smith, 57, died on Saturday, February 29, 2020. A native of Utah, he had been a Peninsula resident since 1967. He was a government contractor at Ft. Eustis that repaired and maintained buildings.

He is survived by his parents, Huey B. Jr. and June H. Smith; his daughter Katie and her husband Joey of Newport News; one brother Scott Smith of Newport News; one sister Tamara Smith of Hubert, NC; and one grandchild Karrington.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1510 Todds Lane, Hampton. Burial will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
