Lola Mae Granberry, 69, of Newport News, passed away February 10, 2025.  She worked for many years as a security guard at a bank.  Lola was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Denbigh.

Lola is survived by her four children, Vincent Johnson of Pottstown, PA, and Nika Johns, Jakina Granberry and Charla Granberry all of Chester, PA; two sisters, Lillie Johns of Newport News and Elizabeth Johnson of Chester, PA; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Johnson; her parents, Percy and Lula Johns; her sister Sarah Blake; and brother William Johns.

A funeral service will be held at 4 PM Sunday, February 23, 2025 at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service.  Burial will be at a later date.
