Lois Virginia Smith Nemie, age 79, passed on Saturday, October 22, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Virginia Ives Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Julius Nemie, two daughters, June Percefull McWane and Joy Faye Percefull; one grandson, three great-grandchildren including June's son whom she never met, Abram Craddock"MAC" McWane III. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two loving sisters; Beatrice M. Hurt and Louis Smith Sanderlin and one brother, Robert "Bobby" A. Sanderlin.
I lay her to rest knowing that she heard my last words to her and actually responded to "Hi Mom, this is your daughter June and I want you to know how much Joy and I love you, love you so very much. You will never be alone Mom. God bless you!"
