Linda Pearce Jones, 77, left this life and entered her heavenly home on Saturday, April 23, 2022, where she will find comfort in her eternal life. She was devoted to her family and friends. She was loved and cherished by so many.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Billy P. Jones, Jr.; her son Billy P. Jones, III (Bo); her mother Ina Lee Kryder (Roberts); her father Dennis Pearce; her brother Jerry Pearce; and her sister Sheila Ivy. She leaves to cherish her memories; her brothers, Bobby Pearce and Dale Pearce.

Linda was born in Elizabethton, TN. She moved to Baltimore, MD where she graduated from Eastern High School. After graduating she worked for United Insurance Company of America, where she met and married the love of her life, Billy P. Jones, Jr. Linda and Billy moved to Newport News, VA where they joined and operated the family furniture business originally started by Billy's grandfather R. R. Jones, Sr.

For many years Linda enjoyed worshiping at First Baptist Church Newport News where she made friends and many memories. She served on various committees and enjoyed teaching Sunday school for years.

There will be no public services. Burial will be at Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News.
