Lenwood Alfred Jackson, 83, son of the late Lenwood Jackson and Dorothy Baytop, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021. He served in the U.S. Air Force and his last employment was with the York County School Division as custodian.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife Stephanie V. Jackson; four children, April Dickens and her husband James, Lenwood Jackson and his wife Patricia, Dorothy Mathis and her husband George, and Shanna Haines; two step-children, Arphiela Arizmendi and her husband Jim, and Danielle Jackson; seven grandchildren, Sharelle Jackson, Shavonne Jackson, Brianna Williams, Anthony Jackson, Jeremiah Haines, Jamila Foster and Sala Foster; five great-grandchilden, JaKayla Saulsby, Jaylyn Hill, Keshawn Jackson, Amiya Jackson and Amari Hawkins; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 PM on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
