Lenora Lawrence Ellis, a native of Otway, North Carolina and a resident of Chesapeake was sent to her eternal home on March 25, 2025. She is survived by son Kenneth Mark Ellis; her daughter Christina Holly Ellis; granddaughters, Madelynn Brooke Sourbrine, Makenzie Lynn Sourbrine; bonus granddaughter Morgan Taylor Sourbrine; son-in-law Bret Allen Sourbrine; sister Emma Jean Wilson; and a great grandson Riley Ellis. She was predeceased by her sons Roland Lawrence Ellis and Timothy Paul Ellis.

She spent her time as an accounting associate in the Hampton Roads area. She loved spending time with her family and also loved reading.

The family will receive friends at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 210 Harpersville Road, Newport News, Virginia 23601 on Sunday, March 30th, 2025 from 1-2:00 PM followed by a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Peninsula Memorial Park, 12750 Warwick Blvd. Newport News, Virginia.
