Kenneth James Toupin, 86, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023. Survivors include his two sons, Michael Toupin and his wife Tammy and Patrick Toupin and his wife Nita.

Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in naval aviation. He was assigned to RVAH-6 Reconnaissance Attack (Heavy) Squadron and crewed on P2V Neptune aircraft.

Upon his release from active duty Ken returned to Detroit Michigan were he apprenticed in the construction trades and eventually earning his journeyman carpenter and master electrician certifications. As Ken's career advanced he moved to progressively higher management positions eventually being the superintendent on many large commercial projects. Ken oversaw construction projects throughout his career; he was particularly proud of the following he worked on, Pleasant Ridge Elementary School in Saline, MI, St. Thomas Moore Hospital in Canon City, CO, Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK and the Vietnam Veterans Building in Detroit, MI.

In respect for Ken's wishes a private graveside service will be held at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers in support of our military and first responder heroes at https://t2t.org/donate/
