Katharine Monroe Jones, 74, died on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. She had been a Peninsula resident for over 40 years. Kathy was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and enjoyed sharing a meal with family and good friends at Waffle House and IHOP.

Survivors include five children, Scott Alan Saylor (Kathleen) of Quincy, MA,Steven Craig Saylor (Lindsey) of Yorktown, Shari Young (Russell) of Texas, Chris Jones (Tammy) of Suffolk, and Maura Probst (Charlie) of Newport News; one sister Beverly Nelson of Yorktown; one brother Peter Bates (Cheryl) of Northfield, NH; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Dennis Livingston Saylor and Leonard Derl Jones.

Due to COVID-19 a private memorial service will be held.
