On Thursday, August 19, 2021, Josephine Mae Byrum passed into eternal Heaven. She was born December 30, 1928 in Newport News, VA. "Josie" was married for 65 years to the late William H. Byrum, Sr.

Family and friends remember "Josie" as a compassionate listener always willing to lend support.

Those left to cherish her memories include her two sons, William H. Byrum, Jr. and David W. Byrum (Allison); three grandchildren, Jennifer B. Johnson (Chris), Matthew Byrum and Meredith Byrum.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Peninsula Memorial Park.
