Johnny Roscoe Storms, age 90, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2021. Loved by all, this precious man was always there for others, putting them first, offering a helping hand. He retired from the City of Hampton in 1991 as a Master Carpenter and was respected by all co-workers.

The love he shared for his Heavenly Father showed in every aspect of his life. He and his wife, Jannie Storms, were charter members of Maranatha Baptist Church, where he helped build and maintain the church. He was dedicated to the mission of folding over 2 million scripture covers for the missionaries.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 59 years, Jannie Storms. Surviving are his sons, Jack Powers and wife Sandra, and Carl Storms; his daughters, Shelia Storms Barnes and her husband, Ed,and Lynette Storms; 2 brothers, Harvey Storms and his wife, Ella, Bobby Storms and his wife, Esther; 1 sister, Pearlease McCalley; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church, "Seed Line Ministry", 221 Hampton Highway, Yorktown, VA 23693, or Riverside Hospice.
