Jerry Manuel Lowder Jr., 53, of Yorktown, VA passed away on February 19, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry M. Lowder, and mother, Nina M. Cochran.

Jerry, or as his family lovingly called him, Jr., loved to fix things. He worked in property maintenance for 30 plus years. A jack of all trades, he did repairs and had many hobbies like building beautiful lighthouses, benches and lamps. He was a proud "dumpster diver" and he enjoyed finding items to restore. He loved gardening and landscaping and staying busy. He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with people he loved.

Survivors include his son, Daniel Lowder (Brooke) of Yorktown; brother, Donnie Sentell (Georgette) of Lenoir, NC; sister, Drema Moore (Lynn) of Yorktown; sister, Christy Cooksey (Randy) of Dunnsville, VA; granddaughters, Isabella and Emmalyn; and 8 nephews and 3 nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held February 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Howertons Baptist Church, 3873 Essex Mill Road, Dunnsville, VA 22454.
