Helen Lacy Lonce, 90, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2020. Helen was born to Thomas and Sarah Lacy on January 19, 1930, in Newport News, VA. After graduating from Morrison High School (now Warwick) she spent the next 30 years raising her children and caring for her family. She then returned to school and retired from Dominion Energy (VEPCO) as an Associate Accountant in 1994.

She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Lacy and David and Sarah Nichols; husband Stanley; daughters Pola and Elizabeth "Beth"; brother Reece Lacy and daughter in law Cheryl Lonce. She is survived by her son Douglas Lonce; her daughter Sheila Lonce-King; grandchildren Daniel Lonce, Denee' Tuck (Stephen) and Jeremiah King; great-grandchildren Ashton Lonce, Carson Lonce, Thomas Tuck and Sarah Tuck; and special daughter in law Donna Lonce.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on October 1, 2020 at Pennisula Memorial Park in Newport News, VA.
