Obituary

Gertrude Bradley, 88, of Hampton left this world on March 5, 2022 to be with her Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sue Sadler; her grandson Nathan Rauch; and her sister Mary Ann Nance. Surviving are her husband of almost 71 years, Elliott J. Bradley; her son E. J. Jr. "Jim" (Christie); daughters, Rachel Glowacki (Dave) and Bonnie Rauch. Grandma has seven grandchildren, Jimmy Bradley (Kim), Tina Stutzman (Bret), Eric Trimble (Ashley), Shannon Peters (Adam), Brandon Tyler (Paige), Erin Rauch and Piper Rauch; and eleven great-grandchildren. Gertrude is also survived by sisters, Frances Johnson and Belle Jenkins; and a brother Walter Sadler.

Gertrude was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. More so, she loved the Lord and her Bible. She was a faithful member of Warwick Assembly of God Church and the Glen Jones Sunday school class. She was a very active member until her health declined.

Gertrude enjoyed cooking and baking, sewing, flowers, and keeping an immaculate home for her family. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held beginning at 10 AM on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Warwick Assembly of God, with a funeral service immediately following at 11 AM. Burial will be private at a later date in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
