Frances "Louise" Hudson, 91, went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2021. A native of Elizabethtown, NC, she had been a resident of Hampton, VA since 1951 until moving to Carrollton in 1998, and James River Convalescent Center, Newport News, VA in 2014. She was a member of Liberty Live (Baptist) Church, Hampton, VA, where she taught Sunday School for thirty years, was a member of the Christian witness program EE, and was a member of the Heart Throbs senior adult choir. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend with a heart of gold.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hudson; and leaves to cherish her memory two sons, James Kenneth Hudson and his wife Edie, Joseph Calvin Hudson and his wife, Donna; one daughter Judy Louise Hudson Morin and her husband, Mark; three grandchildren, Jacqueleen Morin, Joshua and Jacob Hudson; and two step-grandchildren, Wesley Collins and his wife Natasha, and Jamie Collins; and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Isa.

A celebration of life will be held at Liberty Live Church, Hampton, at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 8, 2021, conducted by the Rev. Joe Hunt. Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hudson was very supportive of the building program at her church; therefore, in keeping with her wishes, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to the Liberty Live Building Fund, 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA 23666.
The family wants to thank James River Convalescent for their loving and caring support with Mom.
