Elizabeth "Betty" Sienkiewich, aged 90, formerly of Dunmore, PA, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 6th in her Newport News home. She loved her family and dedicated every moment to them. Elizabeth will always be remembered as an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother, who always put everyone before herself. She was a wonderful example of strength to her family, and a devoted Christian.

Elizabeth also enjoyed working at Grace Bible Church (Dunmore, PA) as the church secretary and serving in the children's ministry prior to moving to Newport News, VA to be with her family in 2006.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Stanley Sienkiewich, and also her daughter, Lenore Reynolds of Williamsburg, VA. She leaves behind her daughters, Gail Sienkiewich of Newport News and Margaret Riedmiller (Robert) of Newport News, VA; her grandchildren, Steven Reynolds (Katie McCarthy) of VT, JAAX of VT, Lauralee Eason of Newport News, VA, Jessica Burns (Justin) of Poquoson, VA, Michael Urso of Boston, MA, Brandon Riedmiller (Casey) of Charlotte, NC, Gregory Urso of Jacksonville, FL, and Katie Riedmiller (Dalton Hardison) of Poquoson, VA. She was blessed with 12 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Jeremy Riedmiller & Caroline Hardison, Jacob and Elizabeth Eason, Caleb and Riley Burns, Jordan and Madelyn Urso, Cameron Urso, Farrah Riedmiller, and Ava and Charlie Clark.

All services will be private.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children are wise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her;
Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
But a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised."
Proverbs 31: 25-30
