Doris Dorner Price (Momma Too/Too Too), 98, met her Lord and Savior face to face on Friday, December 17, 2021. She was born on April 16, 1923 in Newport News, VA.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Alex Price; her parents, Albert and Eleanor Dorner; siblings, Charles Dorner, Elsie Dorner, Joyce Hudson; and great-grand daughter, Meredith Eastman Edwards. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Eastman (Richard), Joyce Lynne Tyler (Reggie), Beverly Ware (Curtis); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brother in law, Jack Hudson.

She graduated from Newport News High School in 1940 and married James Alexander Price in 1944. She was a longtime member of New Covenant Church in Hampton. She loved the Lord and always said "salvation is through the blood of Jesus". She always thought of others before herself. She treasured family time and great conversation with other friends and believers.

She ministered to many not only through her prayers but through notes, cards, and sharing words of encouragement and scripture. She loved and prayed for our country, for Christian mission and the Persecuted Church, and her extended family, by name. She had many special friends throughout the years, and in her later years she was blessed by her special sidekick, Libby Pickle, and her adopted family, the Parkers.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to The Voice of the Martyrs or your favorite Missions focused charity.

Grandson, Mitchell Tyler, will officiate a graveside service at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton, VA, at 1 PM on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Family will meet friends and other family members at the graveside at 12:30.
