Bryan Scott Evans passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 9; he was 63. Born in New Jersey, he came to the Tidewater area when his family moved here in 1975.

He is survived by his loving partner, Tamara, his father Allyn Evans, older sister, Theresa, and nephew, Andrew. Also surviving are other aunts, uncles and cousins.  Preceding him in death is his mother the late Nancy (Delia)Evans and younger brother, James.

Scott enjoyed a career in construction and roofing, wiring installation and other building trades. He used his skills in many new housing developments both here and around the country.  After a hard day's work, he enjoyed playing with his dogs Wilma and Chilidog, watching NASCAR and cheering for his favorite NFL team the Las Vegas Raiders.

Relatives and friends are invited to his 11 a.m. funeral mass at St. Jerome Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 116 Denbigh Blvd. Newport News, VA 23608
