Bruce Edward Cockey of Hampton passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 3, 2025 after years of health issues but, he has now gained is wings and legs in Heaven.

Bruce was born in Maryland to Charles and Thelma Cockey. Bruce was a collector of Elvis memorabilia and loved oldies music. He served time in the U. S.Marine Corps and also worked at Peninsula Hardwood Mulch.

He was a beloved husband to his wife Terri; devoted father to Tammy (husband Joe), Jarrid and Brittney (husband Aaron).  His pride was his kids and his grand kids, Emily and Maygan Major, Emma Rose Wiggins and his only grandson (his little buddy) Noah Mason Wiggins. He was also survived his his sister Linda Farris; and brothers, Allen, Jerry, Tommy and Ronnie Cockey.

The family will receive friends and family at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 6 to 7 PM.
