Mrs. Bettie Caudle, age 78 of Hampton, VA, a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2024.  She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Caudle; two daughters and sons-in-law Sharon and Jerry Williams, Linda and Barry Gibbs; and a son and daughter-in-law Evan and Ashley Cooper; three sisters: Brenda, Patsy, and Donna; five grandchildren: Michael, Brandi, Justin, Chris and Jennifer and 14 great-grandchildren. She is reunited in Heaven with her daughter Jan Cooper; parents Elmer and Thelma Spikes and her sister Phyllis Graham.  Bettie was a caring homemaker who loved her family, her pets, gardening and spending time at the beach. She will be deeply missed by all that loved and knew her. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at W. J. Smith and Son Funeral Home in Newport News, Virginia. A service celebrating her life will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home followed with burial in Peninsula Memorial Park.
