Aubrey W. Woodall, 85, of Newport News, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024. He retired from Newport News Shipbuilding.

Aubrey placed his faith in Jesus Christ and never wavered in his commitment to the Lord.  He leaves this world to join his beloved wife, Rosa.  His door was always open and if you needed help you could always count on him.  He will be so very missed by both family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Woodall; son, Kenneth Mclean;parents, Leslie and Jeanette Woodall; brothers, William Woodall, and Horace Woodall; and sister, Betty House.

He is survived by his son Aubrey Woodall; son Brian Mclean; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

There will be a gathering of friends and family on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 4 to 6 PM, with a graveside service to follow at a later date.  For location of gathering please contact the family.

We would like to send a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Newport News Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We could not have asked for better care and we really appreciate it!
