Ann Carol Moore Wedding, 86, passed away April 15, 2024. A lifelong Peninsula resident, she was a member of Temple Baptist Church and retired from Personnel Management at Newport News Shipbuilding.  She also was employed with the City of Hampton working in the jail.

Survivors include her three children, Steven Knight and his wife, Mary Anderson, of Newport News, Joyce Knight of Locust Hill, VA, and Douglas Knight; one granddaughter Brandie Wilson; and two great-grandchildren, BrookLynn and Amelia.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2024 at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.  Burial will be private.
