Obituary

Ann Ingram Boyd, 95, surrounded by family, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 2, 2020. She was born March 27, 1925 in Greenville, SC to Walter and Mabel Ingram. She married the love of her life, Lt Col Leslie Combs Boyd in April of 1944 who preceded her in death Sept 21, 2005. Also preceding her in death is their son, David Ingram Boyd, January 15, 2004.

She was a gifted seamstress and a full time homemaker to her husband and children. She was an officer's wife and traveled the world extensively supporting her husband and country during WWII and the Korean War. She cared for her husband during his long illness with Alzheimer's with dignity and grace.

She was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton and her life passion was to witness to others the love of Jesus. She was a servant of the message in Romans 10:9 – "If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Ann is survived by her son, Robert Young Boyd and wife Pam of Hampton, VA; daughters, Leslie Boyd Saunders of Fort Myers, FL; and Kimberly Jamison Ehly and husband Michael of Smithfield, VA; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was deeply loved by each of them and will be sorely missed.

Our family will be holding a private celebration of life.
