Obituary

Adeline (Addy) Yoksza, age 99, of Yorktown, Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026.  Addy was a remarkable homemaker...an outstanding cook, gardener, and talented at crafts.  She was a military wife which meant adventure whether you planned it or not.  Because of that life, she traveled across the world living in such places as Japan and Taiwan.  As a young woman, she was a synchronized swimmer…graceful and athletic.  Later she became a certified bowling instructor and a member of the National Rifle Association.  Addy's life was a lot like her tended garden.   She planted seeds of love, patience, and strength.  Over time those seeds grew into a family that carries her spirit forward.  After 99 wonderful years, Addy leaves behind a lifetime of memories…family dinners, gardens in bloom, and stories from around the world.  She was preceded in death by her beloved children, John Yoksza III of Virginia and Cynthia Meinen of Kansas.  She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, John Yoksza; her daughter, Betty Titus and son-in-law Glen Titus; her cherished grandsons and granddaughter Kristofer Titus and his wife Elisabeth; Michael Titus; Robert Skelton and his wife Dora; and Catherine Skelton; and her two most treasured great grandchildren.  May Addy rest peacefully as her love continues to grow in all of her family. All services are private.
